One of our favorite podcast segments (and we hope yours too!)
has always been "What are we stalking?" Project planning and
choosing yarns are often one of the highlights of a new project. At
that point, it is still a knitting fantasy, and every knitter has
an active knitting fantasy life. If you have a Ravelry queue the
grows weekly, then yes, you too have an active knitting fantasy
life! But sometimes those fantasies don't turn out the way we
planned. In what will probably be the first appearance of this
podcast segment, Gayle and I examine some of our "stalking fails."
Those projects that, for whatever reason, didn't live up to our
fantasy and fell by the wayside. Please note, none of these
particular stalking fails were because of a poor pattern or poor
yarn, mostly because--well, take a listen to the episode and you'll
